Morocco men sitting volleyball beat Kenya in three straight sets (25-21, 25-19, and 25-18) in their first game of Group A of Para Volleyball Sitting Volleyball Africa Championship 2017 at Petit Stade Amahoro Gymnasium.

Mana Abdel MAjid’s team started with strong performance in first set, leading 8-6 in first technical time out but Kenya fought back to lead the game with 19-18, though Morocco increased the effort in service and blocks to make 23 out of 20 of Kenya.

With great performance of number eight of Morocco Zaaboul Youness and number nine Aziani Hicham, they earned the second and third set respectively to win their first game of the tournament.

On the other hand, Egypt thrashed DR Congo with comfortable 3-0 sets (25-7, 25-3, and 25-15) to go top of the group B before playing Algeria tomorrow. Egypt showed a high leading performance in the first set winning it on 25-7.

Egypt ranked number one in Africa and third in world ranking went on with strong determination to gain 8-1 in technical time out of set2. DR Congo tried to fight back but lost the set on 25-3.

Egypt won their third and last set of the game with 25-15 to go top of group B.
