Brazil started the match well with a similar fashion to how they beat Iran. After Bosnia managed to get back into the game, the third set started intelligently for both teams, but then Bosnia outplayed Brazil in every department of play, and Brazil failed to do anything. The fourth set was neck and neck until 23-23, when Brazil were given a red card for an improper request with substitutes. This gave Bosnia its first match point, but Brazil held on and managed to have set point at 26-25. Eventually Bosnia won the next three points and the match.
