TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s women’s sitting volleyball team finished in second place at the 2018 Asian Para Games on Thursday.
Iran lost to powerhouse China 3-0 (25-13, 25-17, 25-16) in the final match.
The Japan women’s sitting won the bronze medal after outclassing Indonesia 3-1 at the Tennis Indoor Stadium in Senayan, Jakarta.
About 3,000 athletes with disabilities from a record 43 countries and territories are taking part in the games that opened in the Indonesian capital on Saturday.
The Asian Para Games will run through October 13.
